Beginning in 2019, plot fees were raised to $30/season for low income gardeners, and $60/ season for gardeners whose income is about that level. Vote was unanimous, 6-0 Low income household level is currently $30,000. Discussion followed of increasing that level, with a proposal based on Boulder County guidelines of income figures. 17:60 plots are within current low income guidelines. Grant applications favor organizations serving higher ratios of lower income families. Organizations with 50% lower income participants have an advantage. New low income guildeline was proposed and voted unanimously 6-0, to be $45,000, replacing $30,000 level, for 2019 gardening season, and beyond.
